Do people still have beef with AGE? I know I have bad taste in anime, but I really can’t see what’s to get so mad about it.
No one follows my blog to read text so
- Simplistic mecha designs! There are no tiny boxes on top tiny boxes for the sake of being fancy. Robots do not poop glitter, either. … eh the simplistic designs are kind of fugly at times and the AGE system is dumb, but still. I’m glad they’re trying to bring the trend back.
- The story is trying something new. The character’s aren’t rebelling against an corrupt government, or as some people like to say, “every Gundam is a Zeta clone hurr”
- Speaking of, I find it really hard to get a good political intrigue story when you don’t have Tomino on your team. Incoming super opinions: 00 was bad for this reason. It tried so hard to be current and deep, but in the end… I feel that Marina’s Figth exaggerated so little. Gundam 00 is my favorite comedy.
- Now that we have politics out of the way, the writers can focus on something that’s easier to do well: emotional turmoil/forever Four/six year olds wielding guns
- Grodeck is the coolest poo poo
